Service times are 9:00am Traditional, 11:00am Contemporary, 11:00am African, 2:00pm Latino.
Traditional Worship
Sundays at 9:00 in the Sanctuary
This service includes time-honored hymns led by organ and our Sanctuary Choir. Traditional liturgy is used within this service along with opportunities for prayer. This service allows those in worship to hear God's Word spoken through individuals from the body of Christ. The Pastor's message reflects God's messages from scripture and relates Biblical stories and lessons to today's times.
Contemporary Worship
Sundays at 11:00 am in the Family Worship Center
The Family Worship Center offers a less formal environment for holding the service. Our Praise Team leads the Contemporary Service. This is an energetic and responsive worship. Music played is commonly found on Christian radio stations. Lyrics are displayed on the screen behind the band so everyone may sing along as are the Scripture readings.
African Worship
Sundays at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary
Lead by Associate Pastor Colston Morris. This group primarily made up with people from African. This service include time-honored hymns that are led by electric keyboard our African Choir. There are many opportunities for prayer enhanced with traditional and progressive liturgy. Anthems are done in traditional African style.
Latino Worship
Sundays at 2:00 pm in the Sanctuary
Lead by Assistant Pastor Candido Albinon. Our Latino congregation is made up of multiple Spanish-speaking nationalities with a purpose to make Christ known as our Savior. Come join this accepting and loving environment. Explore more at Ministerio Latino HGUMC.
