Advent Services

Serving the Needy

On Saturday, Dec. 14th at 4pm, the Latino Venue will be Serving the Needy that gather at 700 N. Tryon. We will feed and give out hygiene items to the homeless.

Donations of travel size hygiene items are accepted.

Please contact Pilar about donations at 704-995-1471. Everybody is welcome to come. We will meet at HGUMC at 3pm on that Saturday.

Room In The Inn

HGUMC 2019-2020 Room in the Inn will start soon.  We will host 12 homeless men two Thursday evenings a month December 2019 through March 2020.  This ministry depends on volunteers and there are many different ways you can help.  If you would like more information on the duties of each role feel free to email Bette Miller at bettemiller59@gmail.com
