Welcome and Mission Statement
Welcome
Welcome Hickory Grove United Methodist Church! We are a multiethnic congregation that welcomes you to join us at any of our services or events. We celebrate and affirm individuals of every age, economic status, ethnicity, race, physical and intellectual abilities, political perspective, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, family composition, country of origin and citizenship status. We all are made in Christ's image, worthy of God's love and grace! We recognize our differences and do not seek to erase them but to use them as a source of strength, as we journey together toward greater understanding, mutual respect, and love for each other, while humbly serving our God.

Mission Statement
We believe in the holy mystery of salvation, new life through Jesus Christ, and God’s gift of grace. Together, with our diverse Christian community, we share the belief of God’s redemptive love for all, without reservation, through the transformative power of the Holy Spirit.
Core Values
At Hickory Grove United Methodist Church, we support these beliefs in the following ways:
Nurturing
We serve our Triune God through our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness. We live and serve in this community of faith, as an extension of God’s nurturing grace and love. We live this out through hosting community events, sports ministries, congregational care for all ages, and gathering for fellowship with one another.
Reaching Out and Serving
We seek to live out 1 Peter 4: 10-11 - 10, which says “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.” These ministries include serving neighbors of all ages and our community, especially those experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, incarceration, and poverty. While crossing borders and boundaries with Jesus, we seek to serve all.
Growing in Christian Faith
We are a diverse community of faith and are joined in the belief that worship is central to our life. On Sundays, we worship in four different ways: Traditional (English), Contemporary (English), African (English), and Contemporary Latino (Espanol). In addition to worship, we support spiritual growth through Christian education, which includes both in-person and virtual weekly small group studies, Sunday School for all ages, and Bible Studies.
Sanctuary Worship 9:00am and 11:00am
Family Worship Center 10:45am and 2:00pm (Espanol)

Gather with us on Sundays to worship and learn about Jesus.
